During the spring and early summer months, Dax focuses on the wild trout and diverse angling opportunities available in Northern California.
The diversity of angling venues in Nor Cal is unmatched anywhere in the states where classic spring creeks, wild freestone rivers, and excellent stillwater fishing venues are abundant.
These are also perfect venues for casting and angling instruction where you can learn how to be an expert dry fly fisherman, nymph fisherman, and streamer fisherman.
Both beginner and expert angler’s goals and expectations can be fulfilled.
Venues are accessed by easy to challenging walk/wade trips, small boats for Fall River and lake venues, and Outcast raft for floating magnificent freestone rivers.
Featured Venues include:
Fall River: Dry fly fishing on the greatest spring creek in the states
The McCloud: One of the most beautiful freestone rivers in the West
Pit River: Big, angry, wild rainbows in a classic freestone river
Hat Creek: Classic technical spring creek dry fly fishing
